I am Sin Jae Yong (신재영), Chairman of Garnet Law Firm in Hanoi, Vietnam. Garnet operates across three integrated practice areas — legal services, investment consulting, and trade & travel advisory.
Founded in Hanoi in 2006 as Garnet Investment Consulting, we delivered the first new-town development led by a Korean investor in Vietnam — the 1,200-unit Hyundai Hillstate community, developed jointly with Hyundai Engineering & Construction as the first foreign-invested project of its kind.
Since then, we have led the Indochina Building and multiple Hanoi urban projects, southern Vietnam power plant developments, and served as the trusted channel for numerous Korean enterprises investing in Vietnam.
In 2019, having received formal authorization from the Vietnamese government, we launched Garnet Law Firm to advance bilateral investment treaties, investment projects, and cultural exchange between Korea and Vietnam.

Established in Hanoi in 2006, Garnet IC successfully led the first modern foreign-invested new town in Vietnam — the Hyundai Hillstate project — managing state land acquisition, valuation, market relocation and compensation, contractor selection, and completion. This experience made Garnet the primary channel for Korean investment into Vietnam.
In the energy sector, Garnet IC has led investments including the 2,400MW Hau Giang coal-fired power plant, solar and wind projects with the Ninh Thuan Renewable Energy Special Zone, and 500MW solar / 150MW wind projects in the central Dak Lak province.
In industrial development, Garnet IC has facilitated industrial park development in Thai Binh, Nam Dinh, and Vinh Phuc provinces, and successfully secured entry approvals at Da Nang Hi-Tech Park and Hanoi Hi-Tech Park.
